Have you visited the Little Caesars Arena in Midtown Detroit yet? If so, one of the first things you’ll notice just so happened to be designed and fabricated by the Ideal Steel team.
That would be the stadium’s largest name brand sign support that hangs over the Meijer-sponsored west entrance to the arena.
Here’s where else you can find Ideal Steel’s work around the world class sports venue:
- Sign supports for the artist and athlete murals on the north side of the exterior
- Heritage stairs with diamond plates in the Team Store
- Single story balcony in the concourse near the south entrance
- Two story balcony and stairs in the concourse above the Via Bar
- West parking garage
- Large roof top cooling tower
- Pedestrian stairways
- Window and entrance grading
- Entrance overhangs
There are plenty of other spots around the stadium that feature Ideal Steel’s work, including the shower drains in the locker rooms, but those are only accessible to LCA/Pistons/Red Wings personnel.
If you make it out to the arena, try and take some pictures of the Steel work and make sure to tag Ideal Steel on Facebook and Twitter.
