Meet Pamela Miramontes, Ideal Surplus’ new intern! Pamela was a part of Grow Detroit Young Talent Summer Intern Program. The citywide six week program employs young adults between the ages of 14 and 24. By providing early exposure to the world of work, the program plans to enhance educational, work readiness, and leadership skills for thousands of youth in Detroit. Pamela will continue her internship with Ideal Surplus this fall. Chris Clos, Business Unit Manager of Ideal Surplus said “Pamela has done a great job for us.  I am so impressed by not only her work ethic, but also her attention to detail and her desire to do everything she can, and do it the right way.  We are thrilled that beyond her internship she will be a member of the Ideal team for years to come.”

This fall, Pamela will be attending Wayne State University to pursue Business Management. Pamela resides in Detroit with her family. She was raised by her mother Lilia and her father Saul and has an older brother Eric, an older sister Abigail, and a younger sister Naoemi. In her spare time, she likes to be adventurous and go shopping!

When asked what she liked most about the Ideal Group, Pamela said, “The opportunity I was given to work here, the experience and knowledge I gained here. It helped me figure out my future path.”
