Chrysler teamed up with Google Maps Business View to create a 360-degree virtual tour showing the assembly process of the 2015 Chrysler 200 at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant, where the automaker invested nearly $1 billion for the sedan’s production.
The website includes 12 different videos highlighting different areas of the 5 million-square-foot assembly plant. Users can also opt to take self-guided tours through the facility, virtually stopping to watch more than 1,000 robots work to build a single automobile in the body shop. Many Ideal Shield products are featured in the video, including guardrail, handrail, and bollard covers. Visit www.chrysler200factory.com to take the virtual tour.
