Ideal Setech had the honor of being the only supplier asked to participate in FCA Dundee Engine Plant’s Silver World Class Manufacturing audit on May 13. Keith Barr and Karen Hanenkratt presented on the work Ideal Setech has done around the PM Pillar for the 7 Steps of Component Maintenance. The Dundee Engine Plant was successful in receiving a Silver status. Silver is awarded after earning a minimum of 60 points in 10 technical and 10 managerial pillars by demonstrating clear WCM know-how and competence through employee-conducted pillar presentations and a review of projects that have been expanded across the shop floor. They are the 1st FCA Chrysler plant in the United States to reach Silver status. Keith and Karen’s presentation was received well and got great reviews from the plant staff and auditors.
