Ideal Group strongly believes in entrepreneurship and for three years, Ideal Group’s Linzie Venegas and our college interns have taught an entrepreneurship class at Holy Redeemer Grade School. Holy Redeemer Grade School is an urban Catholic grade school, fully accredited by the Michigan Non-Public School Accrediting Association in Southwest Detroit. The six-week course teaches fourth graders all about entrepreneurship and marketing.

“We appreciate the mentorship of the Ideal Marketing Department with our 4th grade Entrepreneur program.  This program offers a fun way for our students to learn about economics, use math skills and communication skills in a collaborative setting.” Mary Beth Kiley, Principal of Holy Redeemer Grade School. There are 17 students in this year’s entrepreneurship class. Each week, students will learn about different Marketing concepts like how to create a logo, a slogan, and how pitch their sale to their peers. Each team must stay within their $25 budget for their marketing campaigns.

“The Holy Redeemer Entrepreneurship program has reminded me that we were born with the ability to impact someone’s life. This is the third year I’ve been a part of this program.  I love working with kids and being able to help further their education. Not only are they learning from us, but we are also learning from them. The energy and the ideas are endless!” says Alex Santori, Ideal Mentor

Ideal Group is happy to be able to reach out into the community and work one on one with Holy Redeemer’s students.

Stay tuned on our social media to keep up with this year’s Holy Redeemer Entrepreneurs!
